Who we are

Two-Way Recruit ("we", "us") is a recruiting organizer for high-school baseball players, available at app.twowayrecruit.com. It is run by Brent Daily in Colorado, USA. Questions about this policy go to hello@twowayrecruit.com.

What we collect

When you sign in

• Your email address, which is how you sign in. We email you a one-time code; there is no password.
• If you use Sign in with Google: Google shares your name, email address and profile picture link with us. We use your name and email address to create and identify your account. We do not request access to your Gmail, contacts, calendar, Drive or anything else in your Google account.
• The time you last signed in.

What you enter in the app

• Your profile: name, graduation year, positions, throwing hand, home city and state.
• Academics you choose to add, such as GPA and SAT or ACT scores.
• Athletic metrics you choose to add (for example exit velocity or pop time), and links to your videos and recruiting profiles such as YouTube, X or Prep Baseball.
• Your list of colleges, where you stand with each one, the camps and events you plan or attend, your tasks, and notes you write.
• Conversations you record with coaches: the school, the coach, the date, how you talked, and any note you add.
• The email addresses you use for recruiting, so the app can recognize email you forward to it.

Email you forward to the app

Each account has a private forwarding address. When you forward a coach's email to it, or copy it on an email you send, we save the sender's name and address, the date and the subject line, and match it to a school. The body of the email is read only to find the original sender and match the school, and is not stored.

What we do not collect

We do not use advertising, ad trackers or third-party analytics. Your browser stores your sign-in session and a few display preferences (for example whether a map is folded) on your own device so the app works between visits.

How we use it

• To run the app for you: show your schools, your next steps, and your history with each program.
• To send the sign-in codes you ask for.
• To keep the app working and secure, fix problems, and improve it, including reading feedback you send us.

We do not sell your information, use it for advertising, or share it with colleges, coaches, recruiting services or anyone else for their own use. Nothing you enter is shown to other users.

Google user data

Two-Way Recruit's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use the name and email address Google provides only to sign you in and identify your account, never for advertising, and we do not let people read it except with your permission, for security, or as the law requires.

Who helps us run the app

We use a small number of service providers, who process your information only to provide their service to us:

• Supabase: database and sign-in. Your account and everything you enter is stored here.
• Cloudflare: hosts the website and app, and receives email sent to your forwarding address.
• Resend: delivers the sign-in code emails.
• Google: only if you choose Sign in with Google.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of our users or the service.

Information about college programs

The app also shows information about college baseball programs, such as rosters, commitments and coaching staff contact details. That information comes from public sources like college athletics websites and public recruiting reports. If you are a coach or player and something about you is wrong or you would like it removed, email us.

High-school students and parents

Two-Way Recruit is built for high-school students, and many of our users are under 18. It is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it. We encourage players to use the app with a parent or guardian. A parent or guardian can contact us to review or delete their child's account.

Keeping and deleting your information

We keep your information while your account is open. To delete your account and everything in it, email hello@twowayrecruit.com from the address you sign in with. We will delete it within 30 days and confirm when it is done. Backup copies may remain for a limited time until those backups are replaced.

You can also ask us for a copy of your information, or to correct it. Most of it you can change yourself in the app.

Security

Your information is sent over encrypted connections, and the database is set up so that each account can read and change only its own records. No system is perfectly secure, so please tell us right away if you think your account has been misused.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and for any significant change we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
